Hungary’s HUPX recorded higher electricity prices on the day-ahead market in November 2025. The average price on the day-ahead market (DAM) reached 124.35 euros/MWh, up 2% from October, when the average baseload price was 122.09 euros/MWh. The average peak price on HUPX DAM increased to 142.28 euros/MWh, 10% higher than in October.
Trading activity on the day-ahead market totaled 2.76 million MWh in November 2025. This was 13% above October’s 2.44 million MWh and 16% higher than November 2024’s 2.38 million MWh. The average daily traded volume during the month was 92,120 MWh.
Intraday volumes and hourly pricing on HUPX
On the intraday market, total traded volume reached 1,142,308 MWh in November 2025. That figure was 9% lower than the previous month. Average daily intraday volume amounted to 38,077 MWh.
The average hourly product price on HUPX’s intraday market rose to 128.05 euros/MWh. This represented a 5% increase compared with October.
