The average price reached 106.51 euros/MWh, up 10.3% from April’s average baseload level of 96.55 euros/MWh. Peak load pricing on HUPX DAM

For the peak load segment, the average HUPX DAM price stood at 62.16 euros/MWh. The peak-hour figure rose by 2.9% compared with the previous month. This indicated a smaller month-on-month movement for peak pricing than for overall baseload averages.

Trading activity on the day-ahead market declined versus April. Total traded volume amounted to 2.59 million MWh, which was 6.3% lower than April’s 2.44 million MWh. On a yearly basis, volumes were higher by around 4% compared with May 2025, when the figure was 2.49 million MWh.
