Day-ahead market volumes increase in January
Trading activity on the day-ahead market totaled 3.41 million MWh in January 2026. The figure represented a 12.1% rise versus December 2025, when volume was 3.04 million MWh. Compared with January 2025, volume increased by 29.2%, from 2.64 million MWh.
Intraday continuous trading rises versus December
On the intraday continuous market, total traded volume reached 1,098,895 MWh in January 2026. This was 5.8% higher than in December 2025. The data covers activity across the intraday continuous segment during the month.
Market participation remains stable on HUPX
In January 2026, 113 members were registered on the day-ahead market. On the intraday continuous market, 105 members participated during the same period. The figures indicate a stable level of engagement across both market segments.
